About Jolo Fashion
Jolo Fashion Group was founded in 1976 in the Dutch town of Made, when John Lohle and Jo de Laat combined their names to create Jolo. What began as a small company specializing in children’s coats and jackets soon grew into a full-range children’s fashion specialist.
Today, Jolo Fashion Group designs and produces clothing for every stage of childhood — from baby to teenager. Our teams , both in the Netherlands and China, are passionate in everything we create.
Mission
We are driven by a simple mission: we make children smile with comfortable, stylish, and sustainable clothing. We believe in transparency, creativity, and genuine collaboration at every stage of the process, ensuring every garment we create reflects both quality and responsibility.
Vision
Our vision is to be the most trusted and innovative partner in children’s fashion — from design to delivery. Growth, responsibility, and positive impact lie at the heart of everything we do, guiding us to continuously improve and inspire.
What we believe in
We value our partnerships deeply. We work with our clients and suppliers from a foundation of mutual respect and shared vision. Before we begin a collaboration, we take the time to ensure there is true alignment in personality, product, and ambition. This approach has helped us build long-term relationships and secure our strong position in the children’s fashion industry today.

How we work
Our greatest strength lies in our people. With over 70 dedicated employees — many of whom have been with us for years — we value expertise, loyalty, and passion.
We operate within a flat organizational structure of small, flexible units that report directly to top management. Instead of managing top-down, we believe in coaching and empowering our teams, giving them the autonomy to grow, innovate, and succeed. This culture of trust and independence fuels the creativity and organic growth of our company.
Future forward
Proud to introduce See You Again, our fully circular brand designed to give materials a second life and help shape a more sustainable tomorrow. Designed to return. Made to last.
Supporting families, building futures
Jolo Fashion Group and family members believe that a family and a loving home are among the primary needs of every child. Unfortunately, not all children grow up in such circumstances. To help change this, the company founded the Con-Sense Foundation in 2009, which supports non-profit organizations that help children and families overcome the challenges of poverty.
As a result, Jolo Fashion Group and family members, through their Con-Sense Foundation, have funded multiple projects of SOS Children’s Villages – an organization that supports children and families in vulnerable situations across more than 130 countries and regions. Jolo Fashion Group is also part of the Families for Families network of SOS Children’s Villages.
One of the projects funded within this network is a vegetable garden initiative in Canchungo, Guinea-Bissau, one of the poorest countries in the world. With failed harvests and high food prices, more than 70% of families cannot afford nutritious meals, leaving children especially vulnerable to malnutrition. To address this, SOS Children’s Villages launched the vegetable garden project. Fifteen families, including SOS mothers and local households, were trained in gardening, nutrition, and cooking. With drip irrigation and knowledge of food preservation, over 60 children and their caregivers now enjoy fresh vegetables from their own gardens every day.
By funding such projects, Jolo Fashion Group and family members hope to give something good back to the society. After all, they believe, the best thing a child can wear is a smile.
